Duties and Responsibilities:-
- Maintain and implement the EHS management System’ of the organization.
- Implement safety standards toward the company's health and safety objective. Prepare safety instructions and Safety signage, make sure all are available, and prepare if necessary.
- Plan and carry out regular internal audits to ensure compliance with legal, buyer, and international standard in the plants to ensure the effectiveness of the management system.
- Report nonconformities to department heads and initiate corrective actions to improve the management system.
- Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements are implemented.
- Conduct monthly EHS committee meetings and address the issues with each concerned department and solve the issue.
- Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments, and working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
- Conduct environmental, health & safety training and ensure the records are maintained.
- Carry out risk analysis, and PPE requirement analysis throughout the organization, issuing and controlling PPE.
- Ensure aspects that have an impact on the environment through the processes are identified and reviewed to meet with environmental objectives of the organization.
- Monitor and maintain the company waste management system and liaise with recyclers.
- Maintain the implementation of CMS and buyer RSL compliance requirements.
- Ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly activity is performed as per the plan and documented accordingly.
- Assisting in the external audit and role in the minimization of audit Hit Rate
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management or department heads from time to time
Qualification
- BA degree preferably in Environmental health and safety, chemical engineering
- Environment stream with relevant work experience in the field.
