Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced General Accountant Head to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance, particularly within manufacturing and import-export sectors, and be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
- Coordinate and lead external audits.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA/ACCA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing and/or import-export environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
