Qualification Required:

  • Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent, with a minimum of ten years of work experience in the hotel industry out of which 3 years’ experience as a Hotel General Manager at a luxury property or 5-star hotels

Major Responsibilities

  • Fully responsible for the formulation and accomplishment of the financial budget and operation plan of the hotel to continuously promote the improvement of the business performance, the enforcement of the management ability, the progress of the market rankings, the growing influence of the brand, the consolidation of the competitiveness of products and services and the appreciation of hotel assets.
  • Fully responsible for the implementation and execution of all the work arranged by the company, the active organization of hotel resources and the supervision of departments in cooperating with the management company to carry out the group work including group sales, membership promotion, group training, group purchasing, project development and talent reserve.
  • Manage and control the product quality and service level of the hotel to meet the brand (or hotel) requirements and monitor the service process of the hotel (including booking, reception, catering, banquet and guestrooms, etc.), effectively meet customer demand, timely solve customer complaints and provide quality customer service, ensuring the steady enhancement of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the sanitation and the facility and device maintenance in all areas of the hotel to reach the standard, formulate and implement the preventive maintenance and repair plan and guarantee the normal operation of hotel facilities and the safety of hotel assets.
  • Responsible for the approval, supervision and execution of the marketing plan of annual guestrooms and banquets, pay attention to market changes and the adjustment of marketing strategy, continuously enhance the occupancy rate of hotel rooms
  • Ensure the sanitation and the facility and device maintenance in all areas of the hotel to reach the standard, formulate and implement the preventive maintenance and repair plan and guarantee the normal operation of hotel facilities and the safety of hotel assets.
  • Monitor the operation of the financial system of the hotel to ensure that the hotel financial management is in accordance with the relevant systems of the management company and related policies and regulations of all levels of government, avoid risks and safeguard the financial security in the hotel.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Excellent leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector
  • Must have the analytical ability to identify gaps and create action plans to close loopholes to achieve House Profit/ Flow-Through goals as detailed in the operating budget.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have good analytical skills and decision-making ability.
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task, prioritizing as appropriate.
  • Excellent communication skills, public speaking, written and oral, with the ability to customize the message to the audience (guest, team member, owner, and other stakeholders

Language: Very Good command in English, knowledge of another languages is a plus
