Job Overview

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual content to represent and promote the company. Responsibilities include:

• Developing images and layouts for projects
• Defining requirements and visualizing graphics
• Creating illustrations, layouts, and photos

Tasks and Key Responsibilities

• Developing design briefs that align with iCog’s vision, brand, and marketing strategy
• Creating social media and website content consistent with the company’s brand identity
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
• Developing illustrations, logos, and other designs using software tools
• Using appropriate colors and layouts based on the company’s brand guidelines
• Collaborating with the Marketing and PR Manager, Marketing Officer, and CEO to produce the final design
• Collecting feedback and amending designs based on comments
• Adapting and optimizing motion graphics for different projects
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously and adhering to project timelines
• Staying updated with industry trends and best practices
• Continuously evaluating and improving design workflows for better efficiency and quality

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years proven experience in graphics design
• Design Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.)
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet brand standards across various platforms
• Design Principles: Good understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling
• Social Media: Knowledge of social media platforms and how to design engaging content for each (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Collaboration: Collaborative mindset and ability to accept and implement feedback effectively
• Communication: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to present ideas clearly
• Adaptability: Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and openness to continuous learning
• UI/UX Knowledge: Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and familiarity with tools like Figma or Adobe XD is a plus
• Video Editing: Experience in video editing and motion graphics is a strong advantage
