Salvatore De Vita and Family PLC is a leading furniture production company specializing in high-quality, innovative designs. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Design Head to lead our design team and oversee the development of new furniture lines. This is a full-time position for a dedicated professional who can drive creativity and efficiency in our design process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design team in creating innovative and functional furniture designs.
• Develop and refine product concepts using Solid Works and other relevant design software.
• Oversee the entire design process from concept to production, ensuring feasibility and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, marketing, and sales teams to align designs with market trends and company goals.
• Ensure designs meet quality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness standards.
• Train and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and production techniques.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Solid Works is a must.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in furniture design and production.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a design team.
• Strong understanding of furniture production techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
