Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager will be instrumental in overseeing all HR functions across our pharmacy network. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring full compliance with all labor laws and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, to build a strong talent pipeline for all pharmacy roles.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, fostering an environment of mutual respect and understanding.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Administer competitive compensation, benefits, and performance management systems, and ensure payroll processing is accurate and timely.
Training & Development:
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills, improve customer service, and support career growth within the company.
Compliance & Policy:
- Monitor and ensure strict compliance with all Ethiopian labor law, industry-specific standards, and internal HR policies.
Workforce Planning:
- Collaborate with department heads and senior management to forecast resource needs and develop succession plans.
HR Operations:
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR databases and systems efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or postgraduate diploma in HRM is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior HR role
Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

- Strong leadership abilities, ethical decision-making, high degree of professionalism, and the ability to manage a complex workload with integrity.
