HR Officer – Maternity Cover

Position Summary

We are looking for a proactive and reliable HR Officer (Maternity Cover) to temporarily take over key human resources responsibilities during the maternity leave of a team member. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of HR experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle HR operations with professionalism and discretion. This is a critical role to ensure continuity in HR processes and employee support during the temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, leave management, and records keeping
• Support recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain accurate digital employee records
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed consistently
• Respond to employee queries and provide HR-related support
• Assist with internal communications
• Prepare reports and documentation as requested by HR leadership
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold company HR standards

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 1 years of relevant HR experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain professionalism under pressure
