Job Summary

  • District HR Operations Team Leader is responsible for implementing the activities related to talent acquisition and on-boarding including recruitment, selection and orientation processes in order to attract and recruit right employees. The role involves ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand and create great relationships with both candidates and employees. In addition, the role holder is responsible for administration of employee welfare and providing HR services under the assigned District.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Management, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related discipline from a reputable university.
  • Professional qualification(s) in Human Resources is as added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of Six (6) years relevant experience.

Technical Competencies

  • Technical experience in human resources and/or business administration.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Ethiopian employment and labour relations law.
  • Ability to manage full-cycle recruiting and sourcing including knowledge of various interview techniques and evaluation methods and how to maximise their use.
  • Knowledge and understanding of appropriate employment branding and marketing tools, methods and approaches.
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.
  • Proficient in the use of social media, job boards, CV databases and interview techniques.
  • Ability to implement cost management strategies and policies.
  • Ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and produce management reports.
  • Project management skills
