Job Summary
DRAZ GROUP CO., LTD (ETHIOPIA BRANCH) is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administrative tasks. The HR Officer will work closely with management and staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the full cycle of recruitment: posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, concerns, and workplace issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Coordinate staff performance evaluations and follow-up actions.
- Prepare HR-related reports, letters, memos, and documentation.
- Assist in organizing employee training, workshops, and team-building activities.
- Ensure company compliance with labor laws and HR regulations in Ethiopia.
- Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information (leaves, absences, new hires, etc.).
- Promote a positive company culture and support management in HR initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Ethiopian labor law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-5 year of experience in an HR role.
- Experience in HR software/systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle conflict resolution professionally.
