Job Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all computer-related activities within the organization. This includes managing network systems, ensuring data security, maintaining hardware and software, and providing technology solutions that support operational efficiency and productivity across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage all aspects of IT infrastructure operations and performance monitoring.
- Evaluate and integrate infrastructure solutions based on business, regulatory, and market needs.
- Ensure all technologies align with company standards, policies, and strategic objectives.
- Guide and supervise Junior IT Admin in defining roles, responsibilities, and processes.
- Support the development and growth of junior IT staff through mentorship and training.
- Prepare and manage IT infrastructure budgets (network equipment, servers, workstations).
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency improvements.
- Provide technical recommendations on infrastructure, platforms, and technologies using financial and risk analysis.
- Oversee infrastructure projects and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
- Monitor compliance with IT best practices and produce operational performance reports.
- Manage suppliers and vendors to ensure service delivery meets business requirements.
- Develop, manage, and maintain data center operations and ensure policy compliance.
- Coordinate with group IT teams to ensure adherence to corporate IT standards.
- Manage telecom systems including internet, VPN, and telephone services.
- Oversee IT asset management and technology refresh cycles.
- Operate and troubleshoot CCTV systems and related infrastructure.
End-User Support
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for end users.
- Track and document support activities using ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA).
- Analyze and resolve technical issues and system failures.
- Install, upgrade, and maintain software and applications for users.
- Provide support for Windows OS, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Active Directory, etc.).
- Deliver user training sessions and technical awareness programs.
- Ensure all user systems are protected with updated antivirus solutions.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Ensure availability and proper functioning of all user applications.
Qualification:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management, business applications, and IT helpdesk support.
Required Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Windows Server platforms.
- Experience with virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
- Strong understanding of software systems and IT services.
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networking environments.
