Job Summary
The Project Manager manages and delivers the project in accordance with agreed processes, procedures, governance, and strategy, within scope, quality, budgetary and time targets. This includes project scoping, planning, execution, managing transitions and evaluation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and confirm business requirements (Functional and non-functional), solution architecture, and defining the project boundary and what is in and out of scope
- Develop delivery plans for end-to-end solutions containing business and technical components, including security, data privacy, and transition to the support organization (operation).
- Agree on the most impactful KPIs for the implementation and stabilization metrics, set the baseline, and monitor them together with the supplier and the business.
- Define, plan, request, and secure resources/skills to meet project requirements and deliver the project within scope, time, and budget and in line with methodology, policies, standards, and working practices.
- Develop a robust business case that clearly identifies the total cost of ownership of the solution, and business benefits, and quantifies business value and benefits.
- Conduct a business and technical risk assessment and implement a plan of action with clear ownership to mitigate risk.
- Together with Procurement and Legal teams in the company, ensure contract scope, terms and conditions are fully understood, revised and suppliers managed within the agreed engagement rules and governance.
- Participate in the project related to the definition, design, construction, testing and implementation of the solution.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience in managing projects
- Proven track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of computer systems and how they can be used to support business processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in translating business requirements into technology solutions
- Experience in managing and coordinating vendors (Integrators)
- Proven experience in Project planning and execution, issue and risk management, and stakeholder management
Education
- The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related fields.
Experience
- 8 -10 years relevant experience with 3 years at IT Project Manager role for MSc and BSc respectively.
