Reports to: Accounts Manager
Employment Period: Maternity cover (six months with possible extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Transactions & Documentation
- Create Purchase Request Forms (PRFs) and Purchase Orders (POs) on ERP in a timely manner.
- Create Goods Receiving Notes (GRNs) and Purchase Invoices (PINVs) on ERP in a timely manner.
- Raise Credit Sales Invoices on ERP promptly.
- Create Petty Cash Payment Vouchers (PCPVs) and Cheque Payment Vouchers (CPVs) on ERP.
- Raise Cash Receipt Vouchers and ensure daily follow-up of deposits to the bank.
- Payments & Compliance
- Raise Withholding Tax (WHT) receipts for the purchase of goods and services.
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely settlement of liabilities.
- Follow up on purchase advance settlements with respective purchasers and prepare a monthly balance report.
- Bank & Cash Management
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with petty cash handling, monitoring, and reconciliations.
- Reporting
- Support in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Provide schedules and supporting documents for audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Reporting related to procurement and inventory.
- General Support
- Maintain accurate filing of vouchers, invoices, and other financial documents.
- Assist in stock count and inventory reconciliations as required.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Accounts Manager.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Accounting & Finance
- 0 - 1 years of experience in accounting
