Junior Frontend Developer

Job Summary

The Junior Frontend Developer is responsible for developing responsive, user-friendly, and interactive web applications using modern frontend technologies. The role involves converting UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces, integrating frontend applications with backend services, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• Recent graduates and self-taught developers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
• Previous internship, freelance, academic, or personal project experience in frontend development is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and interactive web interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Convert UI/UX designs and Figma prototypes into functional web pages and reusable components.
• Build, maintain, and enhance web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs.
• Ensure applications function correctly across different devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-structured code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with React.js and Next.js.
• Experience using Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or shadcn/ui.
• Knowledge of Redux for state management.
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Experience using Git and version control workflows.
• Experience with Zustand is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of frontend testing tools such as Jest or Cypress is an advantage.
• Experience working with Figma is an advantage.
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization techniques.
• Experience developing reusable components and design systems is an advantage.
