Jr. Loan Analysis & Relationship Officer

Purpose of the Job:

To support Nisir’s achievement of profitability and asset quality by identifying loan customers, accepting, processing, following up fulfilment of the credit request. After disbursement of loans perform collection and regular loan repayment to improve asset quality by coordinating cross process.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

• Recruit and identify potential commercial customers and establish relationship to increase the credit customer base of Nisir.
• Collect and check information and documents from loan Customers, internal database and external sources for further credit processing.
• Prepare and review due diligence reports and other documents collected in respect of completeness, relevance and accuracy for further analysis.
• Prepare a comprehensive credit appraisal report independently for branch committee deliberation.
• Undertakes periodic customer credit risk rating for risk-based lending.
• Forward the credit analysis report and documents to the credit operation team.
• Communicate credit decision of Nisir to the customer in order to complete the subsequent credit process for disbursement of the loan.
• Authorize loan disbursement after cross checking terms and conditions of the decision against evidentiary documents to ascertain their implementation.
• Review loan and mortgage/pledge contracts, and other security documents for accuracy and completeness with a view to secure Nisir’s interest in the eyes of the law.
• Conduct strict loan follow up on case-by-case basis focusing on repayment/ utilization, end use of loans, insurance renewal and business performance etc.
• Identify early warning signals on the customer’ business and advice before taking subsequent appropriate actions.
• Identifying and negotiating potential problem loan to prevent further deterioration of loans and advances and/or make proposal for further handling by the workout unit.
• Provide guidance during business visit, interview and extend expertise advice to the Customer.
• Forward impaired loans timely to the loans work out for better expertise resolution through negotiation after proper amicable resolution effort.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management or related fields
• Experience – Not required (One year of relevant experience in the finance industry is advantageous)
