Junior Sales Officer

Ethiopost is Ethiopia’s principal postal service provider, with over 600 branches across the country. Its new vision is to be a global leader in postal services and a preferred partner in logistics, financial, and government services. Ethiopost is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) tasked with the establishment and expansion of postal services in the country. It is the designated postal operator (DPO) that provides postal services throughout Ethiopia to fulfill the government’s universal service obligation (USO).

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: BA degree with 0 years of experience
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Address their queries, concerns, and provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Offer accurate and up-to-date information about the organization, its services, products, or events. Stay informed about relevant updates and changes to ensure the information provided is current.
• Support the sales team in the entire sales process, including preparing sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services to clients.
• Assist in maintaining sales records, preparing sales reports, and analyzing data to evaluate sales performance. Provide insights to the sales team for continuous improvement.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
• Handle various customer inquiries and manage administrative tasks related to the sales process.
• Perform related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
