Our client, a well-established company operating in the manufacturing and merchandising sector, is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Lead Accountant to lead and manage all financial operations. The role requires strong financial leadership, hands-on management, and the ability to support business growth through sound financial planning and control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage the company’s overall financial activities
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial plans
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Oversee accounting operations, costing, inventory valuation, and financial controls
• Manage tax planning, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management
• Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Support pricing, cost optimization, and profitability analysis for manufacturing and merchandising operations

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s is an added advantage)
• Minimum 3 years and above of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge in the manufacturing and/or merchandising sector.
• Solid knowledge of financial management, costing, taxation, and reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills
