Job Summary:
The Liaison Officer / Legal Facilitator is responsible for facilitating communication and coordination between the organization, government institutions, regulatory authorities, clients, and other stakeholders. The role supports legal and administrative processes by preparing documentation, following up on legal and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and assisting in resolving operational issues. The position also promotes the organization's interests through effective relationship management and timely coordination of official matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the organization when dealing with government offices, regulatory agencies, courts, and other external stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and maintain strong working relationships with public and private institutions.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on legal, regulatory, and administrative documents.
- Coordinate licensing, permit applications, renewals, and other compliance-related activities.
- Assist in handling legal correspondence, contracts, and official documentation.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise management on compliance requirements.
- Support the resolution of legal, administrative, and operational issues with relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate records of legal documents, permits, licenses, and correspondence.
- Prepare reports on liaison activities, legal matters, and regulatory updates.
- Provide administrative support during meetings, negotiations, and official engagements.
- Assist in customer relations, stakeholder engagement, and organizational representation when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Educational Qualifications:
- TVET Level IV or Diploma in Law, Marketing, Sales, Secretariat, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in legal facilitation, liaison, public relations, administration, customer service, or a related role.
- Experience working with government institutions, regulatory authorities, or legal documentation processes is an advantage.
