The Role:
The main purpose of the Logistics Assistant is to work as part of the logistics team, managing all responsibilities related to supply, warehouses, and fleet as well as dispatching of goods. Logistics Assistant is responsible for ensuring quality in supply chain management support across the Ethiopia programme. Where appropriate, the logistics Assistant will provide support to field teams through assessment and accompaniment

An ideal candidate for the role will also be/have:
- Ability to adjust to constantly changing situations while maintaining focus on delivery and follow-through supply and logistics requirements.
- Able to work with little supervision, being innovative and use initiative to a good degree.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to work in a wide variety of cultural contexts.
- Experience and training of supply and logistics management system soft wares.
- Technical skills of fleet management software/system like TrackPoint and GPS.
- Data management and reporting skills
- Competent in the use of computers and Microsoft Office applications including word-processing (Word) and Excel.
