Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, engage prospective members and partners, and drive growth for Tilla Health’s insurance and telehealth offerings. You will collaborate closely with business development, product, and technology teams to craft messaging, design promotional materials, and measure campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Planning
- Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with business objectives (membership growth, partner acquisition, product launches).
- Define target audiences, positioning, and key messaging for each segment (Diaspora plans, NGO plans, Family & Individual plans, BridgeCare USA).
- Content Creation & Management
- Produce compelling copy for digital channels (website, email newsletters, social media, blog articles).
- Coordinate creation of visuals, infographics, videos, and case studies with designers and external agencies.
- Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Plan and execute paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Monitor campaign KPIs (click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition) and optimize budgets accordingly.
- Social Media & Community Engagement
- Manage Tilla Health’s social media profiles: create editorial calendar, schedule posts, and engage with followers.
- Identify and liaise with industry influencers, healthcare communities, and diaspora networks to amplify reach.
- Event & Partnership Support
- Help organize and promote webinars, workshops, and conferences.
- Collaborate with partner organizations (pharmacies, clinics, NGOs) on co-branded marketing initiatives.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct regular market scans to identify trends, competitor offerings, and new growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally within health insurance, healthcare tech, or related sectors.
- Proven track record in planning and executing integrated digital and offline marketing campaigns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Amharic fluency is a plus.
- Proficiency with marketing and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Ads Manager, Mailchimp, CRM systems).
- Creative thinker with excellent project-management and organizational abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
