Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Mobile App Development (mainly Flutter) Trainer to form part of our technical team at Mizan Institute of Technology (MiT). This is a remote, online opportunity with an emphasis on providing quality training to our trainees.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Flutter Instructor:
  • Direct engaging, interactive, and project-based online classes in Mobile App Development with a main focus on Flutter and Dart.
  • Develop and update course content, projects, and tests so as to be up-to-date with current industry trends and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, code review, mentoring, and advising to students in the learning process.
  • Enforce a cordial and engaging online learning environment.
• Technical Contribution:
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching processes.
  • Assist in evaluating student projects and provide constructive feedback so that they meet industry standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in Flutter, mobile app development, and related technologies to ensure course content relevance.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Technical Skills:
  • Strong skills in Flutter and Dart for cross-platform mobile app development.
  • In addition better understanding of native Android and iOS apps.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app architecture (e.g., BLoC, Provider, GetX), state management, and best practices.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and native mobile features (e.g., push notifications, device permissions).
  • Git and version control workflow expertise. Familiarity with Native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) is desirable.
• Soft Skills & Experience:
  • Shown teaching, mentoring, or technical training experience, ideally in an online setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear and concise language.
  • Enthusiasm in teaching and helping others reach their tech professional goals.
  • Successful organizational abilities and experience in efficiently managing an online classroom.
  • Independence and the ability to work as a remote team member.

Desirable Qualifications:

• A collection of published apps on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Master's (may be Bachelor's) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field, or equivalent experience in the industry.
• Experience in open-source project contribution or technology communities.
