Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant will assist in day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance department in preparing reports and reconciliations. The position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow professionally in accounting and finance within a dynamic company environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and assist with data entry.
- Help in preparing vouchers, invoices, and payment documents.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and petty cash management.
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Assist in tax preparation and submission under the supervision of a senior accountant.
- Follow up on payments and receivables.
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. For those who have level 4; you must submit coc exam result.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or related roles in manufacturing industry
- Basic knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with accounting software-Peachtree, is an advantage.
- Strong computer skills, especially in MS Excel and Word.
- Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and willingness to learn
- Applicants should speak; write and listen Oromifa ;English and Amharic language
Employment Type: Full-Time After probation period.
