Job Summary
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator with a solid background in accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure a smooth and efficient working environment.
- Support the accounting team with data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation of financial records.
- Manage petty cash, assist in preparing financial reports, and help monitor company expenses.
- Handle correspondence, emails, calls, and maintain organized filing systems (both physical and digital).
- Coordinate shipments and logistics documentation in collaboration with the import/export team.
- Liaise with customs brokers, shipping agents, and other third-party service providers as needed.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and handle procurement processes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly tax reports, including VAT and withholding tax.
- Schedule meetings, organize calendars, and support internal communications.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and assist with audit preparation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in office administration with accounting duties.
- Experience in an import/export or logistics company is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and familiarity with tax filings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Peachtree, or ERP systems) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
