Mothers and Children Multisectoral Development Organization (MCMDO) is a national Non-Governmental Organization registered in accordance with the proclamation for Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No 1113/2019 with a certificate No 0022. MCMDO is currently implementing 15 emergency response and development projects in all regions and City Administrations in Ethiopia. .
To meet its objectives MCMDO calls for competent professionals to apply for the following vacant position.

Job summary
Procurement and Logistics Manager oversees the sourcing, purchasing, and transportation of goods to ensure efficient supply chain operations. This role is vital for maintaining cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Source suppliers and negotiate contracts for goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Manage budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
Logistics Duties:
- Coordinate transportation and distribution of goods.
- Optimize inventory levels and warehouse operations.
- Oversee import/export documentation and customs clearance.
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan logistics.
Qualifications
- BA degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of Ten (10) years of demonstrable and relevant experience in procurement and logistics in NGO or similar. At least 4 years of proven experience in leading and managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement and contractual regulations and best practices.
- Knowledge and experience of NGOs and diverse donors’ requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently.
- Strong people management skills.
