Vacancy: Purchaser & Cost Analyst (Medical Equipment – Import Division)
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Purchaser & Cost Analyst to oversee procurement and financial assessments within the medical equipment import division. This role goes beyond purchasing it also involves:
- Product selection
- Profit margin analysis
- Ensuring smooth customs clearance for imported items
Key Duties
- Place and manage purchase orders with existing manufacturing partners
- Select items from product catalogs based on demand and market relevance
- Calculate local selling prices and profit margins to ensure business viability
- Prepare and manage customs clearance processes and documentation
- Track shipments and coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery
- Maintain accurate procurement and financial records for reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (medical background is a plus)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing, preferably in medical equipment or healthcare imports
- Strong knowledge of import regulations and EFDA procedures
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement tools
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
