Job Summary
The Receptionist & Cashier is responsible for providing excellent front desk customer service, managing patient registration and appointments, handling cash transactions accurately, issuing receipts, maintaining financial records, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for clients while supporting the smooth daily operation of the healthcare facility.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Accounting.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role; experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Register clients, schedule appointments, and provide front desk support.
- Receive cash and other payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate cash records.
- Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile cash collections.
- Respond to customer inquiries and direct clients to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain accurate customer and financial records.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Support administrative and clerical activities as required.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and data entry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.

- Fluency in English, Amharic, and Afan Oromo.
