Job Description
East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, is pleased to invite passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position Regional Lead-Trade Marketing position, which is based in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Lead-Trade Marketing Director.
Key Purpose Statement
The Regional Lead – Trade Marketing is responsible for leading and executing trade marketing initiatives at the regional level to boost sales performance, strengthen brand visibility, and expand market share. This role involves developing and implementing customer-focused activation plans, ensuring excellence in merchandising and promotional execution, and aligning all trade marketing activities with the company’s overall commercial strategy.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional trade marketing activation plans to drive sales and market penetration.
- Lead the implementation of customer-tailored promotions, activations, and in-store initiatives.
- Ensure consistent brand visibility through effective merchandising standards and point-of-sale material deployment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform trade marketing strategies.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and distribution teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of trade activities.
- Track and analyze the performance of trade marketing initiatives, providing timely reports and improvement recommendations.
- Manage relationships with key regional customers, distributors, and external partners to support activation needs.
- Oversee regional trade marketing budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Support new product launches by planning and coordinating regional activation activities.
- Ensure compliance with company brand guidelines and operational standards across all trade touchpoints.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in Trade marketing or frontline with solid experience in sales and marketing strategies, including marketing and channel strategy, revenue growth management, and new product development.
- Track record of exceptional performance
