Job Summary
The Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling the company's steel mill products, developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets. The role also involves market research, online product promotion, sales reporting, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company's steel mill products to existing and potential customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the steel industry.
- Post and advertise the company's products on online platforms and business websites to attract potential buyers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and follow up with prospective customers.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and industry trends.
- Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Perform other sales-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience working with steel mills or selling steel products is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of online product advertising and digital sales platforms is an advantage.
- Understanding of the steel industry and steel products is an advantage.
