Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting financial operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, monitoring account balances, ensuring tax compliance, supporting reporting activities, and assisting the Finance Manager in daily financial management and decision-making processes.
Education
- BA Degree in Accounting and Finance or related fields
Experience
- Proven 5+ years of experience in the sector
Job Description
- Checking monthly reconciliation
- Check and follow up balances for each account
- Assist Finance Manager with managerial cash flow (payments, collections, credit notes, etc.)
- Visit the bank to execute payments, check balances, and collect bank statements
- Check petty cash replenishment, payments, bank transfers, and security bonds
- Organize monthly VAT, WHT, pension, and income tax declaration in one window system (online)
- Assist Finance Manager in updating monthly and yearly reports about costs (fixed, variable, transport, energy, and service), sales, and stock reports
- Handle tax clearance and VAT refund processes with the Revenue Ministry
- Follow up and provide on-the-job training for junior accountants
