Job Summary
We're hiring a Senior Cashier & Collector with strong accounting and cash-handling skills to manage day-to-day cash, bank, and reconciliation operations. If you're detail-oriented, great with numbers, and can thrive under minimal supervision, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process payments (cash, checks, credit cards), issue receipts, and secure funds
- Maintain and balance the cash drawer against receipts and transactions
- Post charges and payments into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy
- Conduct regular account audits and reconciliations
- Prepare daily deposit slips and reconcile bank statements with internal records
- Manage petty cash, issue refunds, and process payments for purchases and deliveries
- Generate financial reports on receivables by category and service type
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding charges and account balances
- Collaborate with internal departments to confirm charges and account statuses
- Report discrepancies and refer delinquent accounts for follow-up
- Safeguard and track contents of safes, including valuables received and returned for safekeeping
About You
- Education: Diploma or BA in Accounting or related field
- Experience: 4 years or above total, with 2 years or above in a similar role (preferably in manufacturing)
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
