Job Summary
The Senior Physico-Chemical Analyst is responsible for performing laboratory analysis, quality testing, and evaluation of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products using physico-chemical testing methods. The role ensures that laboratory activities comply with quality standards, safety procedures, and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physico-chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to approved laboratory procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment used for chemical and physical testing.
- Conduct quality control tests including moisture analysis, pH measurement, viscosity, density, purity, and other relevant parameters.
- Prepare laboratory reports and maintain accurate records of test results and analysis data.
- Ensure laboratory activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and good laboratory practices.
- Assist in investigating product quality issues and provide analytical support for corrective and preventive actions.
- Support method validation, verification, and improvement of laboratory testing procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation, sample handling procedures, and laboratory records.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and research teams to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Perform other laboratory-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
Experience
- 0–2 years of relevant laboratory, quality control, or analytical testing experience.
- Fresh graduates with strong laboratory knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of physico-chemical analysis techniques and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to use laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.
- Understanding of quality control principles and laboratory safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis, documentation, and report preparation.
