Job Summary
The Senior Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of real estate development projects, ensuring timely and efficient project execution. This role involves the preparation of comprehensive project plans, resource allocation, risk management, and coordination with project stakeholders to meet the organization's strategic goals.

- Reports To: Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Department Head
- Duty Station: Addis Ababa Head Office
- Salary & Benefits: Negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience
Required Qualifications & Skills
- MSc. / BSc. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, or other related fields.
- 5–8 years of practical planning experience.
- Proven skills in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Experience in workforce planning, training needs analysis, and program evaluation.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and analytical capability.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and maintain master project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project; coordinate and optimize resource allocation and sequencing.
- Review and validate detailed schedules, action plans, and KPIs; refine plans and provide expert input during their development.
- Monitor schedule adherence, analyze delays, and initiate corrective actions; produce monthly status reports including cash flow forecasts.
- Train and mentor PME Engineers and Junior PME Engineers; delegate tasks effectively.
- Supply schedule-based insights to top management.
- Capture and document lessons learned related to planning and scheduling; drive continuous process improvement.
- Oversee periodic project monitoring and formal evaluations; conduct site visits to verify data quality.
- Consolidate data from various sources (schedule, procurement) into standardized monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
- Produce dashboards and visualization tools (e.g. Excel) for senior management decision-making.
