Job Summary
The Senior Store Keeper is responsible for managing and overseeing all store operations, including the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of materials, tools, equipment, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper documentation, efficient material handling, and compliance with company policies to support uninterrupted operations and minimize stock variances.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or retail management.
- Experience handling ERP systems and inventory management software.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure proper labeling, identification, and storage of all materials.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent shortages.
Material Handling & Storage
- Supervise the loading, unloading, and movement of materials within the store.
- Ensure materials are stored in a clean, safe, secure, and organized manner.
- Implement inventory management methods such as FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) where applicable.
- Handle damaged, expired, or obsolete materials according to company procedures.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare goods receiving vouchers, issue vouchers, and other store documents.
- Maintain updated inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
- Coordinate with the Accounts and Purchasing departments for documentation, reconciliation, and audits.
Compliance & Safety
- Maintain records for safety stock, insured items, and hazardous materials.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards in all store operations.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and store documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Knowledge of stock control procedures, material handling, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ability to prepare inventory reports and maintain accurate records.
