Main Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Show Room Coordinator I, the Show Room Attendant I is responsible for:

  • Receiving calls and visitors at the showroom and directing them to their destination.
  • Attending to customer needs and providing information on company products.
  • Giving orientation and briefing to customers on technical features and after-sales support issues of vehicles.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receives calls and visitors at the showroom, determines the nature of their business, and directs them to their destination.
  • Answers basic inquiries, routes incoming calls, takes messages, and provides basic information to all callers.
  • Greets clients and visitors when they enter and leave the showroom/building.
  • Ensures everyone is helped.
  • Maintains lead tracking system as well as contact info for showroom records.
  • Ensures the accuracy of all appropriate information written on every lead and contact sheet.
  • Communicates with customers via email, phone, and in person.
  • Schedules appointments for Sales Engineers/Officers.
  • Hands out marketing material or promotional leaflets to walk-in customers.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the showroom and reception areas.
  • Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
  • Provides assistance to other marketing job functions including, but not limited to, communication, data entry, and reporting.
  • Represents the company with a professional demeanor and appropriate attire.
  • Performs other similar activities as instructed by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification

  • From recognized college/TVET level II /10+2/ certificate in Auto-mechanics/General Mechanics or other relevant field of study, Salesmanship training, and 2 years related work experience.

Or

  • From recognized college/TVET level I /10+1/ certificate in Auto-mechanics/General Mechanics or other relevant field of study, Salesmanship training, and 4 years related work experience.
