Job Description

East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, is pleased to invite passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position Team Leader-Accounts Payable, which is based in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Lead-Financial Control.

Key Purpose Statement

The role is responsible to lead and manage the Accounts Payable team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of all vendor invoices and payments. The role is responsible for maintaining strong internal controls, optimizing AP processes, fostering team performance, and supporting the Finance function in achieving operational efficiency and financial integrity.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Operations: Ensure accurate and timely processing of all invoices and payments in compliance with company policies.
• Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead and support the Accounts Payable team to achieve operational excellence and accuracy.
• Compliance and Internal Controls: Maintain strict adherence to financial policies, regulations, and internal control standards.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth payment processes.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze payable reports to support financial accuracy and informed decision-making.
• Systems and Process Improvement: Enhance systems and streamline processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in Accounts Payable operations.

Qualification

• BA Degree in Accounting and Finance.
• A Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in FMCG Industry.
