Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Officer to join our team. The Tender Officer will be responsible for identifying tender opportunities, preparing high-quality proposals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and managing the entire tendering process. This role is vital in securing new business partnerships and enhancing our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and monitor tender opportunities from government, NGOs, and private organizations.
• Collect and analyze tender documents and requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to prepare technical and financial proposals.
• Ensure all tender submissions are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Maintain a database of submitted and awarded tenders.
• Handle post-submission follow-up, clarifications, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor tender deadlines and ensure timely actions.
• Maintain updated knowledge of procurement laws and tendering best practices.
• Build strong relationships with procurement officers and partner organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any educational background
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in tender (Mandatory)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with Ethiopian procurement systems and public sector tendering is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and document preparation.
