As we continue to grow in Ethiopia’s vibrant travel industry, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Travel Consultant/Agent to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Travel Consultant/Agent will serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking to plan and book travel arrangements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, in-depth knowledge of travel destinations, and excellent customer service skills. This role involves advising clients on travel options, creating detailed itineraries, and handling reservations for flights, hotels, tours, and other related services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, travel itineraries, and associated services (e.g., tours, accommodations, transport).
  • Research and recommend suitable travel options based on client requirements.
  • Arrange travel reservations including flights, hotels, car rentals, and tour packages.
  • Ensure all travel documentation (e.g., visas, passports) is in order.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and managing any travel-related issues or changes.
  • Follow up with clients post-trip to ensure satisfaction and address any feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of client bookings, payments, and travel itineraries.
  • Monitor travel trends and update promotional materials to attract new clientele.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience as a Travel Consultant/Agent or a similar role in the travel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of travel booking systems, popular destinations, and current travel trends.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service, sales, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Education:

  • A degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Relevant certifications in travel consultancy are a plus.
