Preparations are already underway to successfully host the African Union Summit in a manner that enhances the dignity and image of our country. Therefore, for those who wish to serve your country through voluntary service, we would like to train volunteer protocol cadets in a program ranging from welcoming guests to greeting them and deploying them in various protocol duties until the annual meeting is completed.
Requirements for Volunteering
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Graduated from an accredited institution in the 2016 and 2017 academic years and holds a first degree in any field of study.
- Graduation grade point average of 3.6 for men and 3.4 and above for women.
- Proficient in English, French, Arabic, or other working languages of the United Nations and the African Union.
- Ethiopian/Wit under 30 years of age.
