Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to be based in Adama. The ideal candidate will:
- Support warehouse operations
- Ensure proper record-keeping
- Assist in day-to-day logistics and inventory activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in regular stock counts.
- Ensure goods are handled safely and stored properly.
- Prepare and update warehouse-related documentation as needed.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Travel to different parts of the country when required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BA degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields from a reputable university (government university graduates are preferred).
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply (up to 2 years of experience acceptable).
- Must be from Adama and willing to stay and work at the client’s warehouse in Adama.
- Fluency in Amharic (reading, writing, and speaking) is required; knowledge of Afan Oromo and English is a plus.
- Must be honest, disciplined, and have good behavior.
- Must be physically healthy and willing to travel when needed.
- Must provide a guarantee from a government employee or private bank staff earning a minimum salary of 30,000 Birr or above.
