Warehouse Assistant (Adama)

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to be based in Adama. The ideal candidate will:

• Support warehouse operations
• Ensure proper record-keeping
• Assist in day-to-day logistics and inventory activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in regular stock counts.
• Ensure goods are handled safely and stored properly.
• Prepare and update warehouse-related documentation as needed.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Travel to different parts of the country when required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• BA degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields from a reputable university (government university graduates are preferred).
• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply (up to 2 years of experience acceptable).
• Must be from Adama and willing to stay and work at the client’s warehouse in Adama.
• Fluency in Amharic (reading, writing, and speaking) is required; knowledge of Afan Oromo and English is a plus.
• Must be honest, disciplined, and have good behavior.
• Must be physically healthy and willing to travel when needed.
