Job Description

East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, is pleased to invite passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Accountant.

In this role, you will support credit and cash customer management, oversee receivables and payment processes, and ensure the effective financial running of operations through rigorous financial control, process discipline, and timely reporting. You will play also a critical role in maintaining liquidity, reconciling bank transactions, and supporting financial planning to strengthen the organization’s financial position.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor customer invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.
  • Follow up on outstanding receivables and support credit control activities.
  • Prepare and update daily cash position reports and assist in cash flow forecasting.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Support payment processing, including vendor payments and internal transfers.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and financial reporting.

Skills, Experience & Education

  • First degree in Accounting and Finance with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • preferably within the FMCG is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a similar fast-paced environment is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage assertively and respectfully across internal teams and external partners.
  • Compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable legislation.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution and process improvement.
