Job Summary: On behalf of our client, we are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Office Engineer to support construction and engineering projects through technical documentation, quantity verification, reporting, and coordination activities. The role involves assisting project teams in planning, monitoring project progress, preparing reports, and ensuring that engineering works are executed according to specifications, drawings, and project schedules.
Qualifications
- BSc Degree from a recognized University in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management, or related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in construction projects or office engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review technical documents, reports, and project correspondence.
- Assist in quantity take-off, material estimation, and preparation of BOQ documents.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, contractors, and project managers.
- Maintain project documentation, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and approvals.
- Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Assist in project scheduling, planning, and resource coordination activities.
- Support contract administration and documentation management.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings and assist in technical drafting works when required.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project standards.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of construction processes and engineering documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering software applications.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
