Job Summary:
Impact Across is seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant/Office Clerk to support financial and administrative functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial records, supporting internal operations, and ensuring effective office management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including petty cash handling and bank reconciliations
- Track expenditures, prepare budget and expense reports, and support payroll and tax processes
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, pension contributions, and other statutory obligations
- Manage procurement documentation, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely payments
- Organize and maintain orderly office filing systems and administrative records
- Handle internal and external correspondence, including emails, calls, and letters
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and events; prepare meeting minutes as needed
- Monitor and restock office supplies and support overall office functionality
- Provide general clerical support such as scanning, photocopying, and printing
- Assist with staff attendance tracking and leave records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- OR BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 0–2 years of experience
- Solid knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations, pension systems, and public financial procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
