Ethiopian Airlines Group invites qualified applicants for Ethiopian Aviation University for the position of Adjunct Professor of Aircraft Communication & Navigation Systems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution. Relevant certifications in avionics or communication systems are advantageous.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
Practical experience in the aviation industry is desirable, particularly in:
- Communication and navigation system design
- Testing of navigation systems
- Maintenance of aviation systems
Possess expertise in:
- Communication Systems: In-depth knowledge of aircraft communication systems, including VHF, HF, satellite communication, and data link technologies.
- Navigation Systems: Understanding of various navigation systems such as GPS, inertial navigation, and radio navigation aids (VOR, NDB).
- Avionics Integration: Expertise in the integration of communication and navigation systems within the aircraft’s avionics suite.
- Regulatory Standards: Familiarity with ECAA regulations and international standards governing aircraft communication and navigation systems.
- Signal Processing: Knowledge of signal processing techniques relevant to communication and navigation systems.
LANGUAGE
- Knowledge of the working language English is mandatory.
