Job Summary
The Banking Business Officer II is responsible for supporting branch business growth through customer acquisition, relationship management, sales performance, and operational excellence. The role focuses on delivering quality banking services, promoting financial products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to branch profitability while maintaining compliance with banking policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Drive branch business growth through active customer acquisition and relationship building.
- Promote and cross-sell banking products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Identify market opportunities and contribute to branch sales targets and revenue generation.
- Support implementation of branch business development plans and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor customer needs and recommend suitable financial solutions.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to improve customer retention.
- Educate customers on available banking products and digital banking services.
- Ensure efficient handling of customer requests and account-related services.
Branch Operations & Service Delivery
- Support daily branch operations to ensure efficient and uninterrupted service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, internal controls, and banking policies.
- Monitor service quality and contribute to continuous operational improvements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of banking transactions.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
Interest-Free Banking Operations
- Promote and support Interest-Free Banking products and services.
- Provide customers with accurate information regarding Interest-Free Banking solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Interest-Free Banking operational procedures and standards.
- Support branch initiatives aimed at expanding Interest-Free Banking portfolios.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal banking guidelines.
- Identify operational and business risks and escalate issues appropriately.
- Support fraud prevention and internal control practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect customer information.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other Business-related fields.
- Minimum of 2.5 years of branch banking experience, including at least 1 year as Banking Business Officer I.
