Biomedical Sales And Service Engineer

Job Summary:

The Biomedical Sales & Service Engineer is responsible for promoting, selling, installing, and providing technical support for biomedical and medical equipment. The role involves engaging with healthcare facilities, identifying customer needs, conducting equipment demonstrations, and ensuring proper installation and training. The position also supports marketing activities, customer relationship management, and regulatory documentation in line with EFDA requirements.

Educational Qualification:

• BSc Degree in Biomedical Engineering

Experience Required:

• 0–2 years of sales experience
• Experience in ICU and laboratory equipment sales is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell biomedical and medical equipment to healthcare institutions and clients.
• Conduct installation, setup, and user training for medical devices.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
• Perform product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Conduct marketing and promotional activities for medical products.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Visit clients frequently within Addis Ababa and outside regions.
• Record and update customer information and submit weekly reports to management.
• Prepare daily and weekly activity reports for the General Manager.
• Participate in product registration processes in accordance with EFDA requirements.
• Support customs clearance and logistics-related activities when required.
