Clinical Laboratory Technician

Job Summary

The Clinical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and ensuring accurate reporting of results. This role supports healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care and maintaining high standards of laboratory operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
• Follow quality control procedures and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols.
• Assist in inventory management of reagents, consumables, and laboratory supplies.
• Provide guidance and support to junior laboratory staff as required.
• Maintain proper documentation and patient records, ensuring confidentiality.
• Participate in continuous training and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with medical and technical staff to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Qualification Requirements

• BSc Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology (Required)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IVD and clinical laboratory work
