Job Purpose
The Cost Accountant Intern will support the Factory Finance team in:
- Recording, reconciling, and documenting financial transactions related to leaf and NTM materials.
- Assisting in data collection, reporting, and analysis for conversion costs and Capex.
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial records in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and post incoming materials, GRNs, and consumption vouchers in Navision for leaf and NTM materials.
- Prepare usage and wastage reports for raw materials, comparing actual consumption with standards.
- Maintain and update NTM and leaf purchase records.
- Support the preparation of monthly conversion cost and Capex reports and analysis.
- Collaborate with entity finance teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions for smooth period closing.
- Participate in stock takes, propose improvements for storage handling, and support inventory adjustments.
- Maintain shelf life databases for NTM materials and assist with provisions and age analysis.
- Contribute to the preparation of operational and financial forecasts (OLs, LEs, ASPs).
- Provide support for ad-hoc finance tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- BA Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Fresh graduate (no prior experience required).
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, with strong analytical and organizational skills, eager to learn.
