Job Overview
The Curriculum Development Assistant will work closely with the Curriculum Department to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative training programs. This role involves:
- Leading the creation of engaging content
- Developing assessment tools
- Organizing resources
- Conducting research to support our projects
The assistant will be a key contributor to the team's output, taking on more independent tasks.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead the design of detailed training manuals, outlining topics, timelines, and allocated hours.
- Develop engaging and interactive training content, including videos, activities, slides, handouts/workbooks, and quizzes.
- Design and update CATs for trainees.
- Establish and revise learning objectives and evaluation criteria for courses.
- Organize, manage, and maintain all training resources and materials.
- Provide manuals and guidelines for trainers on how to effectively use training materials.
- Conduct training (TOT) sessions for trainers as needed.
- Customize content for different audiences and learning needs.
- Research and recommend modern educational practices and technologies to enhance training programs.
- Analyze feedback and assessment results from both trainers and trainees, and compile reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in instructional design or curriculum development.
- Background in programming environments and educational technology.
- Proficiency in design and video tools such as Canva and CapCut.
- Excellent research, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Access to a stable internet connection and a laptop.
