We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Supervisor to lead our front-line sales team. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coaching our sales associates, and ensuring that every customer who walks through our doors—or engages with us online—receives a world-class experience. At Gofere, we don’t just sell jerseys; we sell national pride and athletic excellence. Your job is to make sure our sales reflect that mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly targets. Conduct regular "huddles" to keep the team aligned on daily goals.
- Sales Strategy: Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to suggest promotional ideas and sales tactics.
- Customer Excellence: Act as the point of escalation for customer inquiries, ensuring every issue is resolved with the "Gofere Spirit"—professionalism, speed, and empathy.
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, coordinate with the warehouse for replenishments, and ensure visual merchandising stays sharp and on-brand.
- Performance Tracking: Prepare daily and weekly sales reports. Analyze KPIs (conversion rates, average basket value) to identify areas for improvement.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure the store/sales point is opened/closed on time and that all financial transactions are handled with 100% accuracy.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 1+ years in retail sales, in a supervisory or "team lead" role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A genuine passion for sports (Football, Athletics, etc.) and a deep understanding of the sportswear market.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in [Amharic/English/Other relevant languages].
