External Auditor

The Ethiopian Health Education and Promotion Professionals Association (EHEPA) is a professional association of Social Behavior Change (SBC), health education and health promotion working in Ethiopia from December 6, 2021 as a local organization in accordance with civil society organizations proclamation no.1113/2019. One of the key components in achieving its objectives is to get its resources audited periodically and therefore it seeks to procure and engage external auditor to audit our financial documents from July 8/2025 up to July 7/2026 with three box files as per the following specifications.

Auditor Responsibility

• Conduct the annual audit with International standards on Auditing and comply with ethical requirements and plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements are free from material misstatement (IPSAS).
• Performing procedures to obtain audit evidence about the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements.
• Assess the risk of material misstatement of the financial statements
• Conduct independent assessment of financial statements and disclosures and ensure free from errors, fraudulent activities
• Reporting audit finding and recommendation plan of the auditing process
• Audit financial statement and asses accounts for accuracy and regulatory process
• Assess risk management tactics
• Report systematics errors or fraud indicators
• Explain audit finding and recommend solution improvement
• Express an opinion on the financial statements.

Qualification

• The Auditor must have Valid business license and TIN to Audit
• The Auditor must be certified from Chartered certified accountant certified firm.
• Authorized under the list of Registered Audit Firm – Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia
• Good decision-making abilities & sound judgment
• Proven experience as an external auditor
• Knowledge of external auditing practices and relevant regulation

Note

• All documents shall be submitted with the auditor's seal and the detailed budget breakdown.
• All bids should be submitted from 14/07/2026 up to 22/07/26.
