Finance Expert

Job Summary: The Finance Expert supports financial planning, payment processing, financial recording, audit preparation, and decision-making. The role ensures transparency, accountability, and efficiency in financial management.

Duties and Responsibilities: Handle financial transactions including verifying payment requests, processing payments, recording invoices, managing payroll, tracking revenues, and clearing balances; assist in departmental planning and budgeting; maintain accurate financial records and documentation; support reporting and audits; monitor expenditures and cash flow; ensure compliance with financial laws and internal controls; use financial systems such as IFMIS or ERP; coordinate with stakeholders including banks and auditors; assist in financial analysis, reporting, and decision support; collaborate across departments; and perform other assigned duties.

Education and Work Experience: MA or BA degree in Economics, Accounting and Finance, Business Management, or a related field 5 years of experience for Master’s degree holders or 7 years for Bachelor’s degree holders

Know-How (Technical Skills): Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and financial management; strong analytical and critical thinking skills; excellent communication and presentation abilities; and a high level of integrity and ethical standards
